Do you and your children love Easter? Maybe you’re looking forward to Easter egg hunts and chocolate bunnies. Maybe you just enjoy the time of year when the weather starts turning warmer and flowers start blooming. If you’re spending Easter in Cincinnati, here are 3 fun things to do.
It’s an annual tradition back by popular demand. Search for the four golden eggs hidden throughout the zoo. The lucky winners receive special prizes awaiting them at the Welcome Center. Meanwhile, all the kids can enjoy multiple treat stations, special animal events, and a chance to spend some time with the Easter Bunny. It’s all included in the regular cost of admission. (Saturday, April 20 – 12 to 5 pm)
Would you rather spend Easter on ice? Skatetown will host Easter egg hunts starting at noon. They’re designed for children 12 and under, and they will be divided by age. There will be over 1,000 regular plastic eggs with treats inside, and bigger prizes for a select number of special eggs. You’ll also receive treats and passes from participating local businesses. It’s all happening in nearby West Chester, Ohio. It’s free, and you don’t even need to register in advance. (Saturday, April 20 – noon to 1:30 pm)
Easter is also a beautiful time for a relaxing cruise. Spend the day with BB Riverboats in Newport, Kentucky. Choose from a holiday brunch or a full dinner with ham and chicken. Keep an eye out for the Easter Bunny who will be on board too. Tickets are $49 for adults and $27 for children ages 4 to 12.
