Replaced customer supplied ice tray as well as fill valve customer will observe operation confirm diagnosis

"Per testing, it was determined that the water was backing up in the standpipe and overflowing during the drain cycle. The customer will need to have a plumber correct the drain issue. Service call is good for 90 days."

Found that the upper rack was in the wrong place and was not allowing the door to close completely. Placed the rack in the correct place and checked for proper operation. Operation checks ok.

"Stored error codes - F7e1- Basket speed sensor fault, f1e2-motor control fault, f0e2 - oversuds condition, f7e7 - basket unable to reach target speed. Per testing according to error codes found that the motor was getting extremely overheated (f7e1 and f7e7), and the electronic control kept sending voltage to the drive motor even after the motor had stopped running (f1e2 - motor control fault). Drive motor is under 10 yr limited part warranty. Quote for electronic control and drive motor replacement. Drive motor - WPW10006487 -part warranty + electronic control - W10625696 - $195.62 (part is discontinued) (FYB - not listed) + labor $123.00 + shipping 10.00 + tax after the service call. Customer chose no repair due to discontinued part."
